Carl C. Dirksen, 72, passed away at 5:15 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at his residence in Celina.

He was born on Sept. 20, 1940, in Osgood, to the late August and Henrietta (Stucke) Dirksen.

On June 13, 1964, he married Mary Stelzer, who lives in Celina.

Also surviving are his two sons and daughters-in-law, Dave and Carrie Dirksen of Beavercreek, Dan and Amy Dirksen of Celina; four grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law;

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

He served in the National Guard.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, the Rev. Ken Schnipke, C.P.P.S., officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and before 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
