ST. HENRY 50, NEW KNOXVILLE 46
NEW KNOXVILLE — Kyle Stahl scored a team-high 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead St. Henry to its first victory at The Barn in eight years with a 50-46 win on Friday night in Midwest Athletic Conference play.
The Redskins won at New Knoxville for the first time since 2005, overcoming New Knoxville senior Jake Allen’s 24-point, seven rebound game. Allen went 3-of-6 from 3-point range.

Shane Topp added nine points for the Rangers, who have lost two straight and fall to 4-4 and 0-2 in the Midwest Athletic Conference.
The game came to a standstill in the second quarter, as the two teams combined for just eight points in the period.
New Knoxville went to the half up, 19-16.
St. Henry made its comeback in the third quarter, outscoring the Rangers 18-12 to go to the fourth quarter up, 34-31.
Jordan Bender added 12 points for the Redskins. Ryan Mikesell had 11 points.
St. Henry won the battle on the boards, 34-21. The Redskins had 12 offensive rebounds.
St. Henry is now 9-1 and 2-0 in the MAC. The Redskins host Eaton tonight. The Rangers will go to Botkins for a 6 p.m. JV tip-off tonight.
DEFIANCE 63, CELINA 40
CELINA — Defiance made nine 3-point shots in a 63-40 romp at Celina on Friday night.
Defiance’s Trey Guilliam went 5-of-8 from 3-point range and scored a game-high 25 points. Jordan Tobias added 13 points.
Celina drops to 1-7 and 0-2 in the Western Buckeye League. Matt Buschur was the lone Celina player in double figures with 10 points.
Celina hosts Linden McKinley tonight at 6 p.m.
Defiance improves to 4-3 and 1-1 in the WBL. The Bulldogs avoided falling under .500 at any point in a season for the first time since the first week of the 2008-2009 season.
Defiance’s 63 points is a season-high — a breakout game for a Bulldog team that is the lowest-scoring team in the WBL at 49.3 points per game.
BATH 66, WAPAKONETA 32
WAPAKONETA — Bath took control in the third period, outscoring the Redskins by 16 points, as they outdistanced Wapak, 66-32. The loss drops the Redskins to 5-5 on the season and 0-2 in the Western Buckeye League, while the Wildcats improve to 8-2 and 2-0.
Logan Rockhold led the way for the Wildcats with 18 points, scoring nine in the first period. Taren Sullivan scored 11 points in the game, with eight in the first half, while Cole Chambers scored all nine of his points in the second half.
Wapak senior post Jake Buzzard led the Redskins with 13 points, most coming from the block. He also had 10 rebounds and three blocked shots. Greve contributed with his 5 points.
