BOWLING: St. Marys improves to 5-1

FORT RECOVERY — Kevin Dammeyer turned in a 230-game and the St. Marys boys bowling team scored a 2,681-2,298 win over New Bremen on Wednesday night night at Miracle Lanes in Fort Recovery. The Roughriders won the first two regular games and took the final two Baker games to cruise to the win. Tyler Parent bowled a 214-game and Nick Vogel added a 188-game for the Roughriders. St. Marys improved to 5-1 on the season, tied with Coldwater and St. Henry a game in back of first-place and unbeaten teams Wapakoneta, Versailles and Ottawa-Glandorf.

Marion Local 2,405, Minster 2,070
FORT RECOVERY — Marion Local won its second match of the season as it downed Minster on Wednesday. Brandon Krieg led Minster with a 191-game. Marion Local’s Jeff Knapschaefer paced the Flyers with a 202-game. Both teams are 2-4.

Wapak 2,701, Celina 2,341
FORT RECOVERY — Wapakoneta stayed unbeaten at 6-0 and Chandler Kaeck bowled a 211-game as the Redskins defeated Celina on Wednesday. Luke Manger added games of 209 and 192 for the Redskins. Brad Fischer turned in a 221 for Celina.
