Billy Joe “Bill” Stephenson Jr., 58,  of rural Spencerville, died at 8:28 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, from complications from a fall on ice at his work in Delphos on Jan. 28.

He was born on Feb. 27, 1954, in St. Marys, a son of Billy Joe and Ruth Evelyn Glasco Stephenson Sr., who survive in Spencerville.

Also surviving are two brothers, Scott O. (Pam) Stephenson of Shawnee and Eric D. (Kathy) Stephenson of Delphos; a sister, Sheila R. Stephenson of Kimball, Tenn.; a niece, Vanessa Stephenson of Spencerville; two nephews, Caleb Stephenson of Spanaway, Wash. and Drew Stephenson of Shawnee; a great-nephew, Alex Stephenson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, the Rev. Robert King, officiant.

Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

Calling hours were held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
