Betty A. Link, 81

Betty A. Link, 81, of Fort Recovery, died on Monday, June 16, 2014, at Elmwood Communities in New Bremen.

She was born on Nov. 21, 1932, in Darke County, to the late John and Erta (Keefauver) White.

On Feb. 7, 1959, she married Gustave Link in Greenville. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2013.

She is survived by two daughters, Robin Link of Coldwater and Marna (Jeff) Arling of Minster, a son, Scott (Lori) Link of Fort Recovery, a sister-in-law, Anne Link of Sidney, six grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jessica, Barbara, Gustave, Alicia and Genoa and a great-grandchild, Hannah.

She was preceded in death by three half-brothers and four half-sisters.

Betty graduated from Greenville High School in 1950. She was a member of the Altar Sodality of the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery.

She enjoyed caring and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her computer time.

A funeral mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery, the Rev. Paul Wohlwend officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery in Fort Recovery.

Calling hours will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday at the Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.
