Betty L. Stolzenburg, 81

Betty L. Stolzenburg, 81, of Wapakoneta, died at 12:15 a.m. Monnday, July 22, 2013, at Auglaize Acres.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1931, in St. Marys, the daughter of Otis and Mary (Heath)  Chilcoat, who preceded her in death. On April 12, 1948, she married Vernon F. Stolzenburg, and he died on Dec. 25, 2012.

Survivors include, four sons, Gary (Annette) Stolzenburg, Vernon, WS, Rick (Kim) Stolzenburg, Randy (Rebecca) Stolzenburg, and Steven Stolzenburg, all of Wapakoneta, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Sue Stolzenburg; a son, Terry Lynn Stolzenburg; a daughter-in-law, Connie Stolzenburg; a grandson, Steven Stolzenburg Jr.; four brothers, Ernest, John, Rafe, and Homer Chilcoat; and a sister, Blanche Muter.

A homemaker, Betty had worked at Fisher Cheese Co., Wapakoneta.  She was a member of the Wapakoneta Church of the Nazarene. She also enjoyed watching wrestling on TV.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, the Rev. Ward Lewis officiating.  

Burial is to follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wapakoneta Church of the Nazarene.
