Bertha J. (Baltes) Siegrist, 89, of 3704 State Route 127 in Celina, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on March 28, 1923, in Versailles, to the late Leroy and Ella (Frantz) Baltes.

On July 5, 1944, she married Cletus J. Siegrist, who  passed away on Nov. 12, 1987.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, David C. Siegrist of Celina, John R. and Barbara Siegrist of St. Marys, Helen and Clark Rasneor of St. Marys; four grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law; a sister and brother-in-law

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Michael Siegrist; two brothers; two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Carthagena, the Rev. Tom Hemm, officiant.

Burial will be at a later date in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery in Carthagena.

Friends may call one hour before services at the church.
