Authorities Looking For Wanted Man

SIDNEY — The Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Bellefontaine Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service is looking for a Jackson Center man wanted in connection with a burglary and bank robbery.

Christopher P. Yaeger, 34, last known to reside in Jackson Center, is wanted in Shelby County on one count of felony burglary after allegedly stealing jewelry and a firearm from a home on Nov. 29 and for allegedly robbing a Huntington Bank in Bellefontaine on Dec. 9. Yaeger has been on the run since the robbery.

According to a news release from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Yaeger has a history of robbery and should be considered armed and dangerous. Yaeger is a white male, 5-feet-8-inches tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. Huntington Bank is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Yaeger.
