Notes: St. Marys loses the WBL player of the year from last year to graduation in DeeDee Sudhoff and second-team All-WBLer Carrie Schlater, but St. Marys also returns a lot from a team that again made a deep run in the tournament last season before losing in PKs to Delphos St. John's in the district final. First team All-WBL defender Kristen Vehorn is back along with second team defender Jamie James. Third team All-WBL midfielder/forward Sara Lininger and third team midfield/forward junior Molly Albert are back to add offensive punch. Paige Dicus is back in goal as a junior — her third season in the box for the Roughriders.

Coach's Comments: "The league will be extra strong this year with a few of the teams gaining  valuable experience last year. Celina, OG, Shawnee, Bath and St. Marys will be battling it out with a a few others hoping to get into the mix...."One of our strengths will be experienced midfield and forwards. One of our weaknesses will be our set plays and its yet to be seen how deep we can go with our bench players."
