Alice L. Smith, 92

Alice L. Smith, 92, of St. Marys, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home in Wapakoneta.

She was born on Oct. 12, 1920, in St. Marys, to John and Catherine (Kauffman) Dock, and they preceded her in death.

Survivors include two granddaughters; a great-grandson; her caregivers.

She was preceded in death her husband, Carl Smith; two sons, John (Christine) Smith and Carl Smith Jr.

Funeral rites are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, 210 N. Wayne St., St. Marys, with the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Loramie Valley Cemetery in Botkins.

Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller Funeral Homes in St. Marys.
