Albert J. Bustetter, 92

Albert J. Bustetter, 92, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at Auglaize Acres.  

He was born on July 27, 1920, in Wapakoneta, the son of John and Frances (Fischer) Bustetter, who preceded him in death.  

On June 5, 1946, he married Evelyn A. Seitz, and she died on July 16, 2009.     

Survivors include, three children, Sister Mary Assumpta “Nancy” of Euclid, James Bustetter of North Miami, Fla. and Susan (Tom) Niese of Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his twin brother.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, John; a brother; two sisters and brothers-in-law; and a sister-in-law.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, having served in World War II.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta.  

Burial is to follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wapakoneta, where military rites will be conducted by the Wapakoneta VFW.  

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Bayliff and Eley Funeral Home, S.R. 501 in Wapakoneta.  

Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Renovation Fund.
