Albert H. Sutter, 72

Albert H. Sutter, 72, of Mendon, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born on Oct. 12, 1940, in Coldwater, to Albert and Rosina (Buschor) Sutter.

He married Lena Carpenter on Jan. 2, 1985, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Daniel Sutter of Portland, Ind., and Stanley (Jenny) Sutter of St. Henry; a daughter, Denise (Bill) Bremeck of Dublin; a stepdaughter, Holli (Lonnie) Enderud of St. Marys; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Donita Coil; his parents; three brothers; and one sister.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served from 1961 to 1964, having been stationed in South Korea.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mendon United Methodist Church, the Rev. Don Clinger, officiant.

Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.

Calling hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at W.H. Dick and sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, in Mendon.
