9 Indicted On Drug Sales

CELINA — Nine people have been indicted stemming from investigations by members of the Grand Lake Drug Task Force that involved heroin sales.

In a news release issued Wednesday morning, Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said the indictments came as a result of cooperation among various agencies in Mercer and Auglaize counties.

Indicted were:

• Bradley Hageman , 21, Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, on three counts of trafficking in heroin, fifth-degree felonies.

• Jordan M. Helmstetter, 20, Auglaize County Detention Facility, on two counts of trafficking in heroin, fifth-degree felonies, one count of trafficking in heroin, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of trafficking in methylenedioxyprovalerone, a third-degree felony.

• Jeremy L. Welch, 32, 229 Washington St., Celina, on one count of trafficking in heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

• Lonnie L. Spence, 21, 104 1/2 Haig St., Celina, on one count of trafficking in heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

• Elizabeth J. Vantilburg, 19, 132 S. Buckeye St., Celina, on three counts of trafficking in heroin.

• Michelle K. Anthony, 22, 429 S. Walnut St., Celina, on one count of trafficking in heroin, fourth-degree felonies.

• Dustin A. Anthony, 26, 429 S. Walnut St., Celina, on one count of trafficking in heroin, a fourth-degree felony.

• Katelyn E. Painter, 19, 1400 W. Market St. Lot 64, Celina., on one count of trafficking in heroin, a fifth-degree felony, one count involving a counterfeit controlled substance, a fifth-degree felony, one count of trafficking in heroin, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of trafficking in methylenedioxyprovalerone, a third-degree felony.

• Zachary Lentz, 19, 431 W. Fayette St., Celina,  on three counts of trafficking in heroin, fifth-degree felonies, and one count an offense involving a counterfeit controlled substance, a fifth-degree felony.

Methylenedioxyprovalerone is commonly called bath salts.
