CELINA — Four Mercer County residents were arrested as a result of drug investigations by members of the Grand Lake Drug Task Force.
In a news release issued to The Evening Leader, Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said the four were indicted and arrested for alleged drug trafficking. The investigation was conducted by the Grand Lake Drug Task Force — a combined effort of law enforcement agencies in Mercer and Auglaize counties. Grey noted the Celina Police Department also assisted in the apprehensions.
Facing charges are:
• Crystal Weis, 39, 508 W. Market St., Celina, one count of trafficking in drugs (morphine), a third-degree felony, and two counts of trafficking in drugs (methylin), fourth-degree felonies.
• James Ebright Jr., 31, 520 Plum St., Celina, one count of trafficking in drugs (heroin) in the vicinity of a juvenile, a third-degree felony.
• Benny Williams, 30, 509 Schunk Road, Celina, two counts of trafficking in drugs (crack cocaine), fifth-degree felonies, and one count of trafficking in drugs (crack cocaine), a fourth-degree felony.
• Zac Frazier, 21, 125 Wayne St., Celina, three counts of trafficking in drugs (heroin), fifth-degree felonies, and one count of possession of drugs, (heroin), a fourth-degree felony.
Officers also are attempting to locate two other individuals under drug trafficking charges who are believed to be in the states of Florida and Arizona.
