Three St. Marys Roughriders were named to the All-Western Buckeye League softball team on Tuesday — the most in a season since 2012.

Earning honors were Lexi Fowler as a Second-Team All-WBL selection, Alyssa Alexander at third-team and Kylie Lauth as an honorable mention selection.

Fowler was a solid second baseman for the Roughriders (4-16, 2-7 WBL) with just three errors and a .949 fielding percentage.

At the plate, Fowler batted .333 with nine runs scored, five RBIs and six doubles.

In her third year behind the plate, Alexander also batted .333, scoring nine times and driving home even times. She collected four doubles, two home runs and had a slugging percentage of .519.

Lauth batted .353 while playing shortstop during her senior season. She scored 14 times and drove in five runs while tallying four triples, slugging .529 and racking up an on-base percentage of .500.

Defiance's Dennis Parrish was named Coach of the Year and Shawnee's Chloe Wohlgamuth was named the league's Player of the Year.
