CELINA — Law enforcement officials in Mercer County are investigating a fatal crash that took place along U.S. 33 early Sunday morning.

Mercer County Central Dispatch received a 911 call at 3:31 a.m. Sunday reporting of a crash on U.S. 33 west of Lombard Road in Dublin Township. A maroon colored 2002 Jeep Liberty was west bound on U.S. 33. The Jeep left the north side of the roadway for an unknown reason, traveled through the side ditch and struck a tree.
