Minster headed to D6 State Title Game

November 29, 2014

WAPAKONETA —It was only fitting that the game ended with a kick after the major role special teams played in Friday night’s state semifinal contest.

Minster watched, pleaded, prayed as Tinora kicker Josh Camp’s 27-yard field goal attempt in the final seconds of Friday night’s Division VI state semifinal football game drifted wide left. The miss assured the Wildcats of a 14-13 win over previously-unbeaten Tinora and locked in a berth in the state championship game next Friday at the Horseshoe.
