COLDWATER — The St. Marys ACME baseball team got timely hits, as the Riders defeated the Coldwater Cavaliers 6-3 Friday evening at Veteran’s Field.
“This win was huge for the players tonight,” St. Marys head coach Alan Huber said. “One of the things I told the kids this is the level that we have to play at all the time. This is the level that we are capable of playing at. When we stay focused and we are doing the things that we need to do we can be at the level.”

ST. MARYS — The hits were flying around the ball park Tuesday evening for the St. Marys ACME baseball team as it swept a doubleheader from Sidney 16-1 in five innings in the first game and 16-6 in six innings in the second game.
“I think we did pretty well offensively,” St. Marys head coach Alan Huber said. “The kids did well in situational hitting and we had good pitching. Brandon (Coffey) pitched well and Marcus Wagner had a good showing in the second game, but he got a little fatigued and Isaac Fitzgerald came on to finish the game.”
