WAYNESFIELD — New Knoxville scored six times in the seventh inning to rally past Waynesfield-Goshen 6-4 for its first win of the season on Thursday night.
New Knoxville entered the final frame down 4-0.
After Cody Shaw got on base to start the seventh, back-to-back doubles from Jake Allen and Spencer Wolf cut the lead to 4-2.
Michael Porter, who went 2-for-4, singled home Wolf to make it a one-run game.
After pinch runner Adam Howe stole second, Tyler Shreve singled home Howe to tie the game 4-4.
