Douglas E. Weaver, 57, of 15784 Koenig Road, St. Marys, died on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at University Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born on May 28, 1954, in Coldwater, to Elmer and Mary Jane (Monnier) Weaver, and they survive him in Minster.
On Jan. 13, 1979, in St. Marys, he married Donna Jean Wogaman, and she survives.

ST. MARYS — Local lake officials praised the results of Wednesday’s report on the alum treatment of Grand Lake St. Marys and noted it was a step in the right direction.
“It was a necessary item to keep the lake moving forward this summer,” Grand Lake St. Marys Restoration Commission Facilitator Tom Knapke said during a teleconference with regional media. “We appreciated it immensely.”
ST. MARYS — A multi-million dollar alum treatment on a portion of Grand Lake St. Marys in June reduced phosphorus levels by more than 50 percent in a development officials say exceeded their expectations.
Nancy J. Lawrence, 87, of Celina, died at 10:43 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at Celina Manor.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1924, in Ottawa, to Merle E. Blue and Quilla V. Trachsel, and they preceded her in death.
On Oct. 15, 1944, she married James E. Lawrence, and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2006.

Beverly J. Podoll, 86, formerly of New Bremen and a resident of the Otterbein of St. Marys, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at the Otterbein of St. Marys.
She was born on Oct. 4, 1924, in West Salem, Wis., the daughter of Lawrence F. and Theodora (Storandt) Young, and they preceded her in death.
On Dec. 23, 1945, she married Russell H. Podoll, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 2007.
Constance J. Bruns – Enicks, 70, formerly of St. Marys, died on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, in Zephyrhills, Fla.
She was born on March 21, 1941, in Lenore, W.Va., to Nelson and Emma (Bevins) Hall, and they preceded her in death.
On Aug. 22, 1983, in Greenville, she married Franklin O. Enicks, and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2004.
Helen Hazel (Swink) Smith, 100, of 1011 Kensington Lane, Celina, died at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at the Miller House in Celina.
She was born on Feb. 16, 1911, in Wapakoneta, to Harry and Mary (Varner) Swink, and they preceded her in death.
On Aug. 25, 1933, she married Gerald William Smith, and he preceded her in death in 1982.
She is survived be her daughter, Marilyn Sue Locke of Mansfield; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Babette O. Mack, 90, formerly of Spencerville and a resident of Otterbein St. Marys, died at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on May 11, 1921, in Philadelphia, Pa., to William and Gretchen Rammel Brown, and they preceded her in death.
On June 2, 1946, she married Ray H. Mack, and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2008.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law; three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
MINSTER — Ohio Lieutenant Gov. Mary Taylor visited Minster Tuesday night to tout her own CSI.
Taylor spoke at the Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce’s Businesses After Hours at The Bunker restaurant at Arrowhead Golf Club in a visit to promote her Common Sense Initiative (CSI).
