Loretta I. Bustetter, 84, of Wapakoneta, died at 4:55 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1926, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Albert and Anna (Brautigam) Seitz, and they preceded her in death.
On June 6, 1945, she married Alfred A. Bustetter, and he survives her.

FINDLAY — A pair of former New Knoxville Rangers went head-to-head in early season college basketball action when the University of Findlay faced Cedarville on Tuesday night.
Former Ranger and Findlay junior Brad Piehl and the Oilers emerged with a 90-84 win over Marcus Reineke and Cedarville.
Reineke went 5-for-5 from beyond the three-point arc and scored a team-high 17 points for the Yellow Jackets. Reineke, a freshman guard, came off the bench and went a perfect 6-of-6 from the floor.
Erika Thornsberry - Lipscomb
Erika Thornsberry, a St. Marys grad and Lipscomb freshman, is getting playing time off the bench in her first season with the Bisons.
Thornsberry scored three points and corralled four rebounds for the Bisons against Alabama A&M last Saturday.
She also had three points and four rebounds against Austin Peay on Nov. 14.
The Bison are 0-5 on the season and take to the court again at Vanderbilt on Friday night.

Marilyn E. Hawk, 80, of Celina, died on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus.
She was born on Jan. 18, 1931, in Celina, to Eugene C. and Hilda P. (Schoch) Heckler, and they preceded her in death.
On June 14, 1952, she married Richard E. Hawk, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1995.
Barbara “Jane” Keller, 68, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at her residence, surrounded by her family following a courageous two year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). She faced this disease with love, grace and dignity.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1943, to Fredrick and Elizabeth Banks Pitthan, and they preceded her in death.
On Aug. 11, 1962, she married the love of her life John A. Keller, and he survives her in Wapakoneta. They were married for 49 years.
MINSTER — Members of the Minster Board of Education received more details regarding the district’s state ranking during their meeting on Monday.
“We did fantastic,” Minster Superintendent Brenda Boeke said. “We are very, very proud of the fact that we’re 13th. A lot of thanks to our staff and our students — they worked very hard.”
The Ohio Department of Education used a performance index score to rank more than 900 school districts in the state of Ohio.
NEW BREMEN — Area kindergarten students showed their appreciation to their grandparents Monday afternoon at an annual celebration.
New Bremen Elementary held its Grandparent’s Day, an hourlong program in which students sang songs while teachers Donna Schmitmeyer and Debbie Miller shared with the grandparents what students have told them about their grandparents. Miller began the program thanking the grandparents in attendance for all they’ve done for their grandchildren.
