The St. Marys’ ACME baseball team’s patient approach paid dividends late in its 11-8 comeback win over Elida on Monday night at K.C. Geiger Park.
St. Marys (5-5) rallied back from a six-run deficit with a nine-run bottom of the sixth inning by getting into Elida’s bullpen.
St. Marys worked the count and got Elida’s effective starter out of the game after four-plus innings.
