October 19, 2012

CELINA — When a team scores a goal in the first 30 seconds, it’s a pretty good sign.

The St. Marys girls soccer team scored its first goal 29 seconds into the match and rode that momentum to a 5-1 victory over the Van Wert Cougars in the Division II sectional soccer tournament at Celina.

The Riders (13-3-1) will now play Celina next Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Celina in a district semifinal match.
