NEW KNOXVILLE — The New Knoxville boys basketball team’s 20-point loss to Anna simmered in the Rangers players’ minds for 12 days.
“It’s been a long week and a half since we got beat over at Anna pretty soundly,” New Knoxville head coach Kort Fledderjohann said.
MINSTER — Minster got its first win of the season on Thursday night, defeating Lehman 64-53.
Minster started the second quarter on a 10-0 run thanks to four baskets by Ethan Wolf. Wolf finished with 16 points for Minster, while Adam Niemeyer scored 14 and Poeppelman added 13.
“(Wolf is) just a sophomore, but with a lack of physical presence that we have in terms of depth, we need that from him and hopefully this is a confidence builder for him," Lee said.
