Gladys J. Chunnic, 78, has passed away.
She married Richard Chunnic, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Jr. (Robin), Howard (Chris) and Joseph Allan; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four siblings; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by four siblings.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. June 30 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland.
Diane Marie Creeden, 84, of 113 Foch St., Celina, died at 4:32 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on March 3, 1928, in Lima, to Cecil Dale and Ruby Thayer (Minckley) Mallory, and they preceded her in death.
Diane is survived by her sons, Frank Creeden of Celina, Randy (Marlena) Creeden of Celina; her daughter, Paula (John) Lessick of Celina; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers-in-law; her brother and sisters-in-law.
Dorothy A. Miller, 90, of Sidney, formerly of New Knoxville, passed away at 2:40 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney.
She was born on Sept. 23, 1921, in Auglaize County, near Wapakoneta, the daughter of Benjamin and Anna (Julian) Katter, and they preceded her in death.
On Sept. 9, 1946, she married Willis H. Miller, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2001.
Luther B. Lust, 93, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Inn at Westbrook in Upper Sandusky.
Luther was born on Aug. 2, 1918, in Wyandot County, to George and Mabel (Brause) Lust, both of whom are deceased. He married Alice Gingery on Dec. 22, 1946, in Sulpher Springs, and she passed away on Oct. 28, 2005.
Carol D. Shepherd, 67, of 10702 Mercer-Auglaize County Line Road in St. Marys, died at 1:16 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1944, in Piqua, to Perry William and Delora (Creager) Shepherd.
She is survived by a brother; three sisters; her stepmother, Patricia Shepherd of St. Marys; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Perry William Shepherd; paternal grandparents, Perry and Opal Shepherd.
Norman E. Hager, 85, of rural Wapakoneta, died at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in the emergency room at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on March 12, 1927, in Kossuth, the son of Martin and Vida (Richardson) Hager, and they preceded him in death.
On Nov. 23, 1956, he married Joan Spees Fiebelkorn, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 21, 2007.
Wife, friend, mother and adventurer Elizabeth “Liz” Thomas Dicke, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg with her loving family at her side.
Husband, father, friend, inventor and adventurer Paul A. Dicke, 89, passed away on May 6, 2010.
Paul was born on June 4, 1920, in Bridgeport, Conn., to Allen A. and Amber Dicke, and they preceded him in death.
Liz was born on Feb. 2, 1928, in Montclair, N.J., to R. Wilbur and Lillian Thomas, and they preceded her in death.
Glenna Carmean, 78, of Spencerville, died at 2:50 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at her residence following a three-month illness.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, where visitation will be on Sunday.
Marie T. Behr, 89, of Botkins, died at 2:05 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Arrangements are incomplete at the Long & Folk Chapel, 13 S. Blackhoof St., of Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, where the family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Clay A. Perry, 91, of 1814 Kishler Drive, St. Marys, died at 11:42 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on Aug. 10, 1920, in Auglaize County, the son of Alfred and Bessie (Gilroy) Perry, and they preceded him in death.
On Feb. 27, 1937, he married Dorothy M. Hanger, and she preceded him in death on March 9, 2003.
