Richard E. Hoagland, 75, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Garden Manor Retirement Village.
He was born on Feb. 28, 1936, in St. Marys.
He was the beloved grandfather of Shannon, Jennifer and Chelsea, and they survive him.
He is also survived by a sister, Joan (Sidney) Milder; a brother-in-law, Charles Weaver; a sister-in-law, Shirley Hobing.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Vine Street Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, with the Rev. Elizabeth Senft officiating. Interment will follow.
John E. Fiely, 79, passed away peacefully at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
John was born on Jan. 1, 1932, in St. Rose, to John J. and Gertrude (Hagadorn) Fiely, and they preceded him in death.
On Dec. 1, 1951, John married Alice E. Backs, and she survives.
Patricia Deubler, 60, of St. Marys, died on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memeorial Hospital.
Arrangements are being completed with the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys.
David ‘Spock’ Bertke, 46, of Montezuma, died on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, of a severe stroke at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born on March 7, 1965, in Coldwater, to Dennis and Ruth (Huecker) Bertke, and his father survives him in Maria Stein. His mother preceded him in death.
Spock is survived by his 10 brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

C. Donald Douglas, 68, of Wapakoneta, died at 1 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at his son’s home in Wapakoneta.
He was born on April 27, 1943, in Long Hollow, W.Va., the son of Miner Cecil and Hattie May (Thornton) Douglas, who preceded him in death. On April 20, 1969, he married Nelia Lou Hudnall, and she died on July 30, 2008.
Mary Margaret Ramsey, 99, of 405 N. Spruce St., St. Marys, died at 11:56 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at the St. Marys Living
Center.
Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys.
Garet O. Schmehl, 20, of 17906 State Route 66 in St. Marys, died at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident that occurred on Nov. 7.
He was born on Aug. 29, 1991, in St. Marys, to Tony and Renee (Craft) Schmehl.
He is survived by his parents, Tony and Renee Schmehl of St. Marys; by a sister, Megan Schmehl; by his paternal grandmother, Dolores Schmehl of St. Marys; by his maternal grandmother, Ruth Craft of St. Marys; by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Margaret Ritter, 70, of 212 E. Front St., New Bremen, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at her home.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1941, in Wellington, New Zealand. She was the daughter of Dennis and Johannah Horgan, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 12, 1965, she married William Ritter, who survives in New Bremen.
Garet Schmehl, 20, of St. Marys, died on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Arrangements are incomplete at Miller Funeral Homes in St. Marys.
Margaret Ritter, 70, of 212 E. Front St., New Bremen, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at her residence. Arrangements are incomplete and being handled by the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home of New Bremen.
