May 10th
Gustave C. Link, 82, died on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Dayton Heart and Vascular Hospital in Dayton.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1930, to the late August Link and Anna Lennartz.
On Feb. 7, 1959, he married Betty (White) Link in Greenville, who survives.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin Link of Coldwater and Marna (Jeff) Arling of Minster; a son, Scott (Lori) Link of Fort Recovery; six grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jessica, Barbara and Gustave Link and Alicia and Genoa Arling; one great-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Anne Link of Sidney.

Richard Rubel, 63, of St. Marys, died on Monday May 6, 2013, at Golden Living Center Valley in St. Marys.
Arrangements are being completed with Miller Funeral Homes in St. Marys.
Lester Dicke, 95, of St. Marys, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at St. Marys Living Center.
Arrangements are being completed with the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home (314 W. High Street Chapel) in St. Marys.
Dorothy Lynn Dorsett, 54, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:49 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 23, 1958, in Lima, the daughter of Robert E. and Betty L. (Vondenhuevel) Hague, who survive in Wapakoneta.
Other survivors include a sister, Carol (Rich) Dorsett, Wapakoneta; a former husband, Harold Dorsett II; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Hague and a brother, Donald Hague.
Gale R. Compton, 86, of Van Wert, died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born on Oct. 7, 1926, in Haviland, to parents Roscoe Compton and Ethel Irene (Reid), both of whom preceded him in death.
He married Vernabel Louise (Murphy) on Feb. 4, 2008, and she survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Sherer of Van Wert; two sons, Randall (Patrice) Compton of St. Marys and Ronald (Eve) Compton of St. Marys; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Marjorie L. Borden, 94, of 532 Southway Drive in St. Marys, died at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on June 24, 1918, in Piqua, to Kenneth and Edith (Cliff) Magill. She was raised by her paternal grandparents Fred and Ella (Smith) Magill.
On June 1, 1946, she married Robert R. Borden, who died on Aug. 29, 1990.

Marjorie Borden, 94, of St. Marys, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System. Arrangements are being completed with the Miller Funeral Homes in St. Marys.
Kenneth A. Henschen, 86, of New Bremen, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1926, in New Knoxville.
He was the son of Adolph and Lydia (Stienecker) Henschen.

William H. Frey, 66, of 5840 Botkins Road, New Knoxville, died suddenly at 7:01 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013, in the Emergency Department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.
He was born on March 19, 1947, in Piqua, the son of Walter and Madella (Fischbach) Frey.
He married Sandra Kuenning on Sept. 2, 1967, and she survives at the residence.
Nellie C. House, 92, of 11810 Mallard Lane, St. Marys, died at 12:15 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1920, in Dayton, the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Truebenbach) Miller.
She married Roy C. House on Nov. 5, 1941, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2003.
