August 15th
Doris Aileen Barber, 92, of Delaware, formerly of Celina, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Wintersong Village Nursing Home of Delaware.
She was born on Aug. 14, 1919, in Mendon, to Robert and Bertha (Banter) Barber, and they preceded her in death.
Doris is survived by her sister; two sisters-in-law; four nieces.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; a brother-in-law.
Myron “Sam” Katterheinrich, 86, of 216 W. Spring St., New Knoxville, died suddenly at 11:24 a.m. Monday, Aug., 13, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on Oct. 17, 1925, in New Knoxville, the son of Samuel and Ida (Schultz) Katterheinrich, and they preceded him in death.
He married Joanne Koenig on Aug. 23, 1947, and she survives at the residence.
August 14th
Eleanor L. Wolfe, 91, formerly of 402 S. Main St., New Knoxville, died on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at Cridersville Health Care Center.
She was born on June 4, 1921, in Kenmore, the daughter of Ausker and Mary (Brant) Imler, and they preceded her in death.
On June 2, 1943, she married Dr. Herbert S. Wolfe, while he was preparing for duty as a medical officer in World War II. Herbert preceded her in death in 2002.
Maurice J. Stammen, 80, of New Bremen, died at 1:31 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at the St. Marys Living Center.
He was born on July 3, 1932, in New Weston, the son of Norbert and Frances (Westgerdes) Stammen, and they preceded him in death.
On July 4, 1957, he married Joan Hamberg, and she survives in New Bremen.
He is also survived by his sisters, Laura Sudhoff of Fort Recovery and Dolores Robbins of Celina; a brother, Harold (Irene) Stammen of New Bremen; a number of nieces and nephews.

Eleanor L. Wolfe, 91, of 402 S. Main St., New Knoxville, died on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, in Cridersville.
Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Vera A. Fleagle, 80, of 3211 Shore Drive in Celina, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on Aug. 10, 1932, in Napolean, to Harold and Vera (Sloke) Rudgal. On Feb. 28, 1953, in Napolean, she married Dr. Robert K. Fleagle, who died on Jan. 8, 2001.
Hanford Martin “Hank,” 67, of Middlesboro, Ky., passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Clear Creek, Ky., on March 22, 1945, to the late Canis Dee Martin and Gladys Mason Martin. He was a member of Hensley Chapel Baptist Church.
Mr. Martin worked at Trim Trends in Spencerville for 30 years. He loved his family and the Lord.
August 8th
Betty Lou Eutsler, 85, of Spencerville, died at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health System, where she had been a patient for nine days.
She was the widow of John W. Eutsler.
Arrangements are incomplete at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, and visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Thomas I. Wolfe, 75, of 1905 Kingsbury Drive, St. Marys, died 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born on May 26, 1937, in Benton Harbor, Mich., the son of Archer and Helen (Bartlett) Wolfe, and they preceded him in death.
On Aug. 22, 1964, he married Mary K. Adams, and she survives at the residence.
August 7th
Mary Lou Bornhorst, 82, of Fort Loramie, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
Mary Lou, the youngest of 13 children, was born on Nov. 25, 1929, in Fort Loramie, to John and Anna Borchers, both deceased. On May 22, 1951, she was married to Homer J. Bornhorst, who survives her.
