Robert E. “Red” Katterhenry, 87, of 1242 Quail Run, Wapakoneta, died at 11:26 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born on Dec. 25, 1924, in Wapakoneta, the son of Gus and Daisy (DeLong) Katterhenry, and they preceded him in death.
On Jan. 9, 1945, he married Anna Hay, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 12, 2004.
Virginia R. Hegemier, 83, of 18590 State Route 29, New Knoxville, died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born on May 3, 1929, in St. Marys, the daughter of William and Tessa (Vogel) Glass, and they preceded her in death.
On Nov. 2, 1947, she married David Hegemier, and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2011.
