December 27th
Priscilla “Pat” Sekel, 83, of 708 Edward St. in St. Marys, died at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1929, in Kent, to Mark and Anna (Novak) Babarick.
On Aug. 28, 1954, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kent, she married Samuel D. Sekel, who survives.
She is also survived by a son, Stephen Sekel of Santa Rosa, Calif.; a daughter, Susan (Leon) Skowronski of Strongsville; two grandchildren, Matthew and Savanna Skowronski; a brother, Daniel Babarick of Kent.
c, of 17088 Kettlersville Road, Botkins, died at 8:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Elmwood of New Bremen.
She was born on May 27, 1914, in Washington Township, Auglaize County, to Edward H. and Caroline (Fledderjohann) Arnett.
On Sept. 8, 1940, she married Marvin F. Roettger at the United Church of Christ, New Knoxville, and he preceded her in death.
Virginia Ann Hoelscher, 89, of New Knoxville, died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1923, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of John and Rose (Burk) Pitthan.
She married Myron Hoelscher on April 13, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2003.

Viola Roettger, 98, formerly of Kettlersville, died at 8:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at the Elmwood Assisted Living of New Bremen.
Arrangements are incomplete and being handled by the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home of New Bremen.
Lois I. Bogart, 90, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Auglaize Acres.
She was born on Jan. 27, 1922, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Ray and Emma (Knoch) Harshbarger, who preceded her in death.
On June 9, 1946, she married Robert R. “Bob” Bogart, and he survives.
Other survivors include three children, Susan Miller, Wapakoneta, Douglas (Koi) Bogart, Miamisburg and Timothy (Jeanne) Bogart, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; seven grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, a sister.
Vernon F. Stolzenburg, 83, of Wapakoneta, died at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Auglaize Acres.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1929, in Wapakoneta, the son of Henry and Alpha (Myers) Stolzenburg, who preceded him in death.
On April 12, 1948, he married Betty L. Chilcoat, and she survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Gary (Annette) Stolzenburg, of Vernon, Wisc., Rick (Kim) Stolzenburg, Randy (Rebecca) Stolzenburg and Steven Stolzenburg, all of Wapakoneta; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three brothers.
Mary Jane Liming, 85, of 812 Greenvale Ave. in St. Marys, died at 2:23 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Gardens of Celina.
She was born on March 19, 1927, in Arcanum to Arthur and Edna (Allebaugh) Webster.
On July 28, 1945, in Fairborn, she married Ervin Liming, and he died on March 3, 1974.
Survivors include sons Gary (Joann) Liming of St. Marys and Joey Liming of St. Marys; daughter Nancy (David) Liette of St. Marys; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
Michele L. Barhorst, 31, of 152 Wind Chase Way, Madisonville, Tenn., and formerly of Celina, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, on I-75 near Dayton, as the result of injuries suffered in an auto accident.
She was born on April 3, 1981, in St. Marys, the daughter of Lavern and Nancy (Gerlach) Moeller and they survive in Celina.
She married Scott Barhorst on July 27, 2002; he also died in the accident.
Scott H. Barhorst, 37, of 152 Wind Chase Way, Madisonville, Tenn., and formerly of St. Marys, died on Sunday, Dec., 23, 2012, from injuries suffered in an auto accident on I-75 near Dayton.
He was born on Aug. 26, 1975, in St. Marys, the son of James and Constance (Clune) Barhorst.
He married Michele L. Moeller on July 27, 2002; she died in the accident, as well.
December 23rd
Lahoma J. (Binion) Reineke, 69, of St. Marys, died at 9:02 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1943, in Fairfield, Calif., to Thomas and Maude (Hopper) Binion, both of whom preceded her in death. On Aug. 4, 1990, she married Robert L. Reineke, and he survives in St. Marys.
