Vernon W. Barhorst, 86, of South Paris Street, Minster, died at 5:28 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster.
He was born on April 30, 1926, in Fort Loramie, to Elizabeth Ernst and Frank F. Barhorst, and they preceded him in death.
On Nov. 19, 1949, at St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie, he married Treva P. (Zimmerman) Barhorst, and she survives.
