October 23rd
Steven F. Grimes, 58, of 810 Greenbriar Court, Celina, died at 3:47 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at his home.
He was born on July 8, 1954, in Celina, to Donald H. and Martha L. (Ludwig) Grimes, and his father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Fort Wayne, Ind.
On May 7, 1977, he married Kathryn “Kay” Cron, and she survives in Celina.
Victoria M. Rohrbach, 85, of St. Marys, died at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on May 17, 1927, in Rhine, to Edward and Hulda (Steinke) Greve, and they preceded her in death.
On June 21, 1947, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta, she married Virgil Rohrbach, and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1999.
William C. (Bill) Berg, 71, of Wapakoneta, died on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012. Bill died as a result of extensive farm accident injuries occurring one week earlier.
He was born on Nov. 25, 1940, in Lima, the son of Egon Jr. and Dorothy (Knierim) Berg.
On Nov. 28, 1963, he married Judith Truitt Berg, and she survives him.

Patricia Ann “Patty” Wallace, 73, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2012, at the Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on April 30, 1939, in Lima, the daughter of Frederick J. and Jollie A. (Binkley) Maxwell, and they preceded her in death.
She was previously married to Harold Hendrickson, and he survives in Hall, Ga. She later married Bert W. Wallace, and he preceded her in death.
Victoria M. (Greve) Rohrbach, 85, of St. Marys, died on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. Arrangements are being completed with the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, where visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Herbert J. Quinter, 83, formerly of St. Henry, died on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Celina Manor.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1929, in St. Henry, to Benedict and Anna (Thieman) Quinter, and they preceded him in death.
On Jan. 30, 1954, in St. Patrick, he married Margaret C. (Mertz), and she preceded him in death on Sept. 14, 1999.
Norma Jean Smith, 79, of 14 Defiance Commons, Wapakoneta, died at 4:07 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 16, 1933, in Auglaize County, near New Knoxville, the daughter of Raymond and Viola (Klute) Wierwille, and they preceded her in death.
October 19th
Marcella J. Grim, 85, died on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.
She was born on Oct. 4, 1927, in St. Marys, to Ed and Mary (Goodwin) Stoker, and they preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John Grim of Ossian; her children, Carol (Alan) Hunter of Garrett, Michael (Ellie) Grim of Auburn, Susan (Roger) Boyd of Portland; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; a sister.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Ossian.
Marie Dirksen, 89, formerly of Osgood, died at 8:19 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
She was born on Jan. 8, 1923, in Yorkshire, to Walter and Anna (Martino) Lorton, and they preceded her in death.
On June 26, 1943, in Osgood, she married Joseph J. Dirksen, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1996.
Betty Jean Belden, 77, of 5456 Ada Drive, Celina, died at 2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on May 19, 1935, in Pennington Gap, Va., to George and Laura (Smith) Thompson, and they preceded her in death.
