June 28th
Marie Cordier, 82, formerly of Celina, died Monday, June 27, 2011, at Hospice of Dayton.
Arrangements are being completed with the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), St. Marys.
Margaret A. Meckstroth, 93, formerly of New Bremen, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Otterbein of St. Marys.
She was born on Feb. 14, 1918, in New Bremen, to Lafe and Hilda (Neuman) Dammeyer, and they preceded her in death.
On June 19, 1941, she married Rueben H. Meckstroth, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 5, 1996.
June 27th
Ronald L. Selby, 73, of 18132 Townline-Kossuth Road in St. Marys, died 6:19 p.m. Saturday June 25, 2011, in Wapakoneta following a brief illness.
He was born Jan. 14, 1938 in Mercer County to J. Wilson and A. Lucille (Pummell) Selby.
On Nov. 30, 1955, in St. Marys, he married Marilyn R. Slemmons, who died June 18, 2006.
Kay Virgina Hume, 73, of 7431 Celina Mendon Road, Celina, died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born on Nov. 30, 1937, in Delphos, to Fred and Rosemary (Langemeyer) Shipman, and they preceded her in death.
She married James Hume of Celina and he survives her.
Shirley A. Schaefer, 72, of 04807 St. Rt. 274, New Bremen, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 28, 1938, near Wapakoneta, the daughter of Aldo and Helen (Lunz) Elsass, and they preceded her in death.
On Sept. 8, 1962, she married Dale Schaefer, who survives her near New Bremen.
J. Gale Lutz, 70, of 206 N. Spruce St., St. Marys, died at 9:21 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1940, in Printer, Ky., the daughter of Morton “Shikepoke” and Edy the “Lak“ (Hagans) McGlothen, and they preceded her in death.
On Sept. 9, 1960, she married Kenneth Lutz, and he survives her.
Bethel Slone, 73, of rural Wapakoneta, died Friday evening June 24, 2011, at his residence.
He was born on April 18, 1938, in Knott Co., Ky., the son of Sylvester and Phebie Slone, and they preceded him in death.
On June 17, 1958, he married Ila Mae Craft, and she survives him.
June 24th
Samuel Cassius Green, 52, of Wapakoneta, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on Jan. 5, 1959, in St. Marys to Murle E. and Berniece R. (Braun) Green. His mother preceded him in death, and his father survives in Celina. On April 21, 1979, he married Anita M. Steinke, who also survives.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Schlosser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 615 N. Dixie Highway, Wapakoneta, where arrangements are incomplete at this time.
June 23rd
Stephen “Steve” W. Weadock, 62, of 1218 Taft St., Sidney, passed away at noon on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at his resdience.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1948, in Celina, the son of the late Jerome Weadock and Ruby (Huffman) Weadock, who survives him in St. Marys.
He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruth (Ronald) Langsdon of St. Marys; a brother, Michael (Barbara) Weadock of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia De Mora.
