Preschool Storytime will be at 10:30 a.m. today at New Knoxville Public Library. Kids ages 3-5 (not yet in Kindergarten) are welcome.

Enjoy a sweet treat at the New Knoxville Public Library today. Drop by between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to decorate a cupcake.

8:30 a.m. — ROUGHRIDER 5K RUN–Canal Towpath northward. (Registration 7:30 a.m.)
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. — SENIOR CELEBRATION - Entertainment Tent.

Suspect Arrested In Allen County

ST. MARYS — A Lima man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a string of burglaries in Auglaize, Allen, Shelby and Logan counties.

Mark Ball, 51, of Lima, was arrested this week by deputies from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office. In a news release, Auglaize County Sheriff Al Solomon said deputies from the four counties have been working in cooperation with each other to locate a suspect in the burglaries.

ST. MARYS — The 2014 Little Miss SummerFest Queen and her court were crowned on Wednesday night in the PAC at Memorial High School.

Fifteen girls participated in the pageant, which was sponsored in large part by the St. Marys Optimist Club.
