SSD Search To Restart

July 8, 2013

ST. MARYS — The search for a permanent safety-service director is expected to restart following Monday night's St. Marys City Council meeting.

By a vote of 4-3, councilors voted down an ordinance that would have made Greg Foxhoven the permanent safety-service director. Foxhoven has served in an interim capacity for approximately five-and-a-half months.

Councilors Dennis Vossler, Bill Slemmons, Ron Ginter and Jim Harris voted against the measure while John Bubp, Robin Willoughby and Bob Fitzgerald voted in favor of it.
