WAPAKONETA — An Auglaize County man died Saturday night from injuries suffered in a crash along County Road 33A.
According to a news release from Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers responded to a crash at 11:57 p.m. Saturday along County Road 33A, east of Bay Road.
ST. MARYS — A group St. Marys lovers gathered at a shelter house on Grand Lake St. Marys Saturday afternoon to meet and mingle about the history of the town they all had lived in at one point.
Two months ago, Gary Gibson created the Facebook group “If you grew up in St. Marys, you remember…”. The group was created after a discussion between Gibson and fellow member Kim Wiehe-Kaylor.
ST. MARYS — Walkers gathered for a stroll along Grand Lake St. Marys for the fifth annual Parkinson’s Awareness Walk Saturday morning to raise money and awareness for the disease.
Auglaize County Council on Aging Social Worker Michelle Evans said the walk also allows word to spread about a local support group.
“The walk helps get awareness out about our Parkinson’s support group,” she said, noting that the group meets at 2 p.m. on the third Monday of the month at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
