NEW KNOXVILLE — Deb Eschmeyer — a New Knoxville farmer, community organizer, co-op director and founder of a nationally recognized program to affect school lunches called Food Corps. — was selected to serve as Executive Director of First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative this week.
Deb Eschmeyer also co-founded Food Corps on Earth Day in 2009 with a group of people passionate about getting fresh food in cafeterias and education about how food is grown to students through Americorps volunteers.

ST. MARYS — The National Weather Serivce has issued a wind chill warning in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 1 p.m. Thursday. Wind chills could reach minus-30 degrees.
ST. MARYS — Law enforcement officials are searching for a St. Marys man stemming from a rape investigation that was launched on Saturday.
An arrest warrant has been issued for David H. Andrews Jr., 26, 1730 Celina Road, Lot 23, St. Marys, on charges of rape, a first-degree felony, and gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony. Investigators believe Andrews Jr. left the area in a 2003 Honda Odyssey with Ohio registration FUH 9921. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the St. Marys Police Department at 419-394-2325.
