NEW KNOXVILLE — A New Knoxville man suffered serious injuries following an ATV crash Monday afternoon.
At approximately 2:51 p.m., a resident on Kohler Road reported a subject trespassing on his property via a four wheeler. When Auglaize County Sheriff's deputies arrived on the scene in the 9000 block of Kohler Road, they were unable to locate the driver of the ATV.

WAPAKONETA — An Indiana man died Saturday morning following a crash on Interstate 75 near Wapakoneta.
According to a report from the Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at 7 a.m. Saturday, Spencer Dewaine Edwards, 21, of Andersonville, Ind., was driving a 1996 Saturn north on I-75 when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle went through a ditch and struck a cement bridge abutment near mile marker 111.
VAN WERT — The St. Marys football team celebrated as it ran off the muddy field at Eggerss Stadium, snow flying around in the whipping, cold wind like a snowglobe. They’d turned things around. They’d finished the season the right way.
The Roughriders pulled away from Van Wert for a 39-14 win to close out the season on a rainy turned snowy Halloween Friday night.
St. Marys exploded for 25 second-half points to finish off its bounceback season emphatically.

ROCKFORD – Behind the rushing of Evan Huelsman the Minster Wildcats football team solidified their playoff spot — locked up a home playoff game — as they defeated the Parkway Panthers in miserable weather conditions 35-15 in the regular season finale.
“In this kind of conditions you have to get your running game going,” Minster head coach Geron Stokes said. “We wanted to be smart and get the running game going early and we challenged the offensive line and they responded.”

ST. MARYS — Memorial High School senior Jaden Heitkamp is wrapped up in wrestling, something that is evident from the way he spent his summer. Heitkamp attended Team Miron Wrestling camp in Columbus with two other St. Marys wrestlers for five days this summer. It is one of the most intense and challenging wrestling camps in the nation, Heitkamp said. He and his friends spent nearly nine hours practicing every day, something he said took a lot of “blood, sweat and tears.” But it drives home his firm belief that work ethic is everything in life.
James R. Ruck, 76, of 17353 Maier-Barber Road, St. Marys, died at 3:52 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 4, 1938, in Findlay, the son of Alfred and Helen (Gross) Ruck.
He married Lois Tarbox on Dec. 22, 1957, in Defiance, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 14, 2013.
