ST. MARYS — Beginning in January, area crafters will have a meeting place to socialize with fellow crafters while working on their latest creation.
The St. Marys Community Public Library will host Friday Morning Handicraft Time starting Jan. 7. Adult Services Coordinator Beth Keuneke said the meeting will fill a void in the community.
“There are other places — not right in this community — that do have knitting circles and that kind of thing,” Keuneke said. “I thought I’d try it and see if it would work here.”
