November 12, 2014

WAPAKONETA — The lawyer representing Lori Ann Anderson, the Cridersville Elementary School teacher charged with 25 counts that include rape and sexual battery, confirmed Wednesday that the alleged victim is her son, and maintains that his client is innocent on all charges.

Richard Kerger, an attorney based in Toledo, said that he suspects the investigation began after Anderson’s son told police that he was allegedly raped by Anderson and her now ex-husband, Charles “Chuck” Wycuff, who is facing similar charges.

Minster rallies late, holds off Mechanicsburg in 2OT for 42-41 playoff win

November 8, 2014

MINSTER — The odds of stopping Mechanicsburg quarterback Kaleb Romero — a pinball wearing a football helmet — with the game in the balance on a two-point conversion as he hurtled full speed towards the goal line didn’t seem too good for the Minster Wildcats.

Then again, nothing Minster did to escape with a 42-41 win in double overtime from a Division VI playoff-opening game seemed likely. The Wildcats simply kept doing remarkable things in big situations until they’d made likelihood a moot point.
