The Minster girls basketball team is ranked eighth in the latest Division IV Associated Press girls basketball poll released on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats (12-2) are riding a six-game winning streak, the latest victory a 54-41 win over Ottoville on Saturday.
Minster goes to Parkway on Thursday and hosts Troy on Saturday afternoon.
Minster neighbor Fort Loramie is third in the Division IV poll. The Redskins (13-1) received four first-place votes and trail first-place Newar Catholic and second-place Reedsville Eastern.

WAPAKONETA — The New Knoxville girls basketball team used a good post-game offense and a stout defense to hold the Wapakoneta Redskins to seven second half points to defeat the Redskins 57-28 Tuesday evening at Wapakoneta.
The Rangers outscored Wapakoneta 30-7 in the second half.
Dorothy “Ruth” Raymond, 93, of 936 W. High St., St. Marys, died at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2014, in St. Marys.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1920, in St. Marys, to Ralph Harrison and Mina Christine (Finke) Palmer.
On May 29, 1938, in St. Marys, she married Edwin M. Hollman, who died on Oct. 19, 1974.
On March 11, 1983, she then married Vernon “Susie” Raymond Sr., who died on Sept. 30, 1998.
Robert W. Caldwell, 85, of 12797 State Route 29, St. Marys, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born on July 22, 1928, in Toledo, the son of Clarence and Thelma (Ashton) Caldwell.
He married Mary Ann Minch on Oct. 9, 1954, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 18, 2013.
