The New Bremen Athletic Boosters will be holding their 2nd Annual Reds Event featuring Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer and the only Reds player to pitch a perfect game, Tom Browning on Sunday, Jan. 19 at the New Bremen American Legion.
Joining Tom will be representatives from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and their traveling display of Cincinnati Reds memorabilia with emphasis on the 1990 Championship Team.

ST. MARYS — Doug Frye will try to rebuild the St. Marys football program — the one he carefully tended for 11 seasons and the one he watched fall into disrepair in the five seasons since he left and coached at rival Wapakoneta.
Frye was officially named head coach of the Roughriders at a St. Marys Board of Education meeting on Wednesday night.
Jan. 16: Books, Babies and More will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the St. Marys Community Public Library.
Preschool Storytime will be at 10:30 a.m. today at New Knoxville Public Library of children ages 3-5.
Adults are invited to come and make a Pinterest craft at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. today at the New Bremen Public Library. Register at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 419-628-2158.
Robert J. “Bob” Fritz, 89, of 2304 Kensington Drive, St. Marys, and a resident of the St. Marys Living Center, died at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the St. Marys Living Center.
He was born on March 29, 1924, in Wapakoneta, the son of Oliver and Minerva (Dresher) Fritz.
He married Dorothy L. Jurosic on May 25, 1950, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta, and she survives at the residence.
