NEW BREMEN — Thousands of cyclists have arrived in New Bremen today as part of GOBA's tour. The riders will be in the area until Friday, and there are scores of activities available to them as well as the public.
June 19: The St. Marys Community Public Library will host a Story Time Dance Party at 11 a.m. for children 2 to 5-years-old.
The St. Marys Community Public Library will host a Day of the Prairie Dog program at 1 p.m. today for grades one through three.
Citizens for the Improvement of St. Marys Schools will meet at 7 p.m. today at the St. Marys VFW.
COLDWATER — Two Mercer County teens were arrested on drug charges on Tuesday.
Coldwater Police Chief Jason Miller said Coldwater police officers received a complaint of possible drug trafficking in the area of Hardin Street. An undercover officer from the Grand Lake Task Force was sent to the area and observed an alleged drug deal take place. The vehicle involved was quickly stopped in Celina, where drugs were located.

CELINA — One of the two men accused of killing Robert and Colleen Grube has been ordered held on $5 million bond.

June 17: The St. Marys Community Public Library will host a movie at 11 a.m. today.
• The St. Marys Community Public Library will host a movie marathon from noon to 6 p.m. today for those in grades four through six.
• A computer basics class will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. today at New Bremen Public Library. Call or stop by the library to register. Class size is limited.
• The Animal Magic Exotic Animal show will appear at 1 p.m. today at New Knoxville Public Library.
Ruth Zimmerman, 77, formerly of St. Marys, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Carolina Medical Center - Northeast in Concord, N.C.
She was born on Oct. 16, 1935, in Dorchester County, S.C. to Le Roy and Annie Laurie (Mizell) Hilton.
On Oct. 15, 1960, she married Richard Zimmerman, who died on March 11, 1993.
Ann K. Knapke, 72, 142 Cottonwood Dr.; Celina, died on Sunday, June 16, 2013. Ann was born on Jan. 14, 1941, to Henry and Ester (Nordenbrock) Schenking in Celina. She received her nursing degree from Mount St. Joseph College in 1963 and on July 4, 1964, she married Thomas A. Knapke.
She worked as a nurse for a time but decided she wanted to pursue a teaching career. In 1972, Ann received her master’s degree in special education from Wright State University and enjoyed a fulfilling teaching career which spanned 30 years.
William E. Schulenberg, 86, of Nakomes, Fla., died on Friday, May 24, 2013, at the Tidewell Hospice House in Sarasota, Fla.
He was born on Feb. 12, 1927, in New Bremen.
He was the son of Elton and Mildred (Vornholt) Schulenberg.
In 1952, he married the former Ruth Miles and they recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
Iona J. Berning, 80, of 415 W. Oliver St., St. Marys, died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born Oct. 15, 1932, in St. Marys, the daughter of Edgar and Lillian Henning.
She married Mathias Berning on June 25, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1974.

Tommie A. Real, 75, died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center.
He was born on Oct. 7, 1937, in Celina, the son of the late Otho and Myrtle Graham Real.
Survivors include his wife, the former Allis Walter, whom he married on Aug. 17, 1954, his children, Kevin (Becky) Real, of La Salle, Ill.; Jody (Butch) Barnett, of Warren; Tomi (Joseph) Portale, of Johnson; and Penni (Harold) Rosenberger, of Cortland; four grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
