Dolores H. Stoner passed to eternal life on Saturday, June 8, 2013 and Kenneth Stoner joined her in life eternal on Sunday, June 9, 2013, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident in Jackson Township.
Kenneth was born on March 19, 1926, in Zelienople, Pa., the son of Theodore and Mary Peffer Stoner.
The family would later relocate to Newton Falls. It was on Aug. 3, 1929, that John and Mary Furchak Hildack welcomed the birth of their daughter, Dolores.
Daniel R. Eilerman, 59, of Willowdell Road, Yorkshire, passed away early Thursday morning, June 13, 2013, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Dan suffered a sudden cardiac event and had also been recovering from serious burns since May 14, 2013.
He was born on Feb. 5, 1954, in Coldwater, to Bernard and Mary Lou (Moeller) Eilerman.
On April 1, 1978, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Maria Stein, Dan married Jeanette (Heitkamp) Eilerman who survives.
NEW KNOXVILLE — A storm system that left a wide swath of damage along Ohio 219 near New Knoxville also spawned a tornado.
Auglaize County EMA Director Troy Anderson told The Evening Leader that the National Weather Service confirmed an EF0 tornado hit the area along Ohio 219 Wednesday night and into Thursday morning. The tornado, which packed winds of approximately 85 mph, touched down for a 2 mile stretch along the road.

ST. MARYS — Students in the St. Marys School District will now have to pay fees to participate in school-sponsored activities.
James W. “Jim” Uetrecht, 80, of Polk City, Fla., and longtime resident of New Bremen died on Saturday, June 8, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Ann Uetrecht in 2000.
The son of Pearl and Bill Uetrecht, the brother of the late Florence Pettis, he was born in St. Marys.
He is survived by his loving partner Ann James from Auburndale, Fla.; son Michael Uetrecht, of Columbus; daughter Tamela Uetrecht Marcaurelle; son-in-law Chris Marcaurelle
ST. MARYS — A fasting-moving storm system toppled trees, downed power lines and destroyed buildings in the eastern portion of Auglaize County Wednesday night and into this morning.
Auglaize County EMA Director Troy Anderson said the storms rolled into the area packing winds up to 60 mph. The National Weather Service issued multiple watches and warnings throughout the day — something Anderson said gave residents plenty of time to plan ahead for the storm.
ST. MARYS — City councilors approved the first reading of an emergency ordinance Monday night that would name Greg Foxhoven the new safety-service director.
Following an executive session, councilors approved the first reading of the measure that would remove the interim label from Foxhoven’s current title. According to the ordinance, Foxhoven would be paid an annual salary of $82,000.
COLUMBUS — St. Marys Memorial senior Kelly Heitkamp made this year’s journey to state in the pole vault a business trip. Heitkamp closed the deal with a finish five places better and a foot higher than last year’s trip.
Heitkamp cleared 10 feet, six inches and wrapped up her record-setting senior season with a seventh-place finish in the Division II girls pole vault on Saturday morning at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.
