Mark “Duke” Droesch, 90, of Maria Stein, died at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at his home.
He was born on June 3, 1923, in Maria Stein, to the late Augustus and Catherine (Vondrel) Dreosch.
He is survived by one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
Paulette S. King, 66, of 115 E. Anthony St., Celina, died on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1946, in Celina, to Herbert and Lois (Wierwille) Henning.
On March 27, 1965, in Port Clinton, she married Pastor Gary L. King, who survives.

ST. MARYS — The search for a permanent safety-service director is expected to restart following Monday night's St. Marys City Council meeting.
By a vote of 4-3, councilors voted down an ordinance that would have made Greg Foxhoven the permanent safety-service director. Foxhoven has served in an interim capacity for approximately five-and-a-half months.
Councilors Dennis Vossler, Bill Slemmons, Ron Ginter and Jim Harris voted against the measure while John Bubp, Robin Willoughby and Bob Fitzgerald voted in favor of it.

John K. “Jack” Goudy, 75, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:32 a.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Wapakoneta Manor.

Allen Spring Sr., 89, formerly of rural New Knoxville, died at 11:24 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown.
He was born on July 5, 1923, in Van Wert County, to Leonard and Rena Spring.
On Nov. 2, 1951, in Portland, Ind., he married Lucille Johnson, who survives.
Michael Glen Schneitman, 63, of 7696 State Route 219, Celina, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at V.A. Medical Center in Dayton.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1949, in Jacksonville, Fla.
On March 4, 2013, he married Karen Bobenmoyer, who lives in Celina. Also surviving is his daughter, Christy Hammer of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepsons and daughters-in-law Eric and Lisa Wheat of Celina, Erin and Branda Wheat of Brookville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by one brother; one stepbrother.
MINSTER — After losing their opening game in the double-elimination Auglaize County ACME sectional tournament on Monday, the St. Marys ACME baseball team ran the table.
St. Marys slugged its way to the Auglaize County ACME sectional title by sweeping the Minster Wildcats in a pair of games on Friday night. The 10-1 and 15-4 wins for the Roughriders in the two championship round games finish off four straight wins over the past three days.
Former Coldwater resident Zeno E. ‘Sam’ Schoenlein, 93, died on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Otterbein Living Center in St. Marys, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born on March 3, 1920, in St. Peter, to the late Peter and Veronica (Braun) Schoenlein.
On July 31, 1948, he married Dorothy (Fortman) in St. Anthony, and she died on Oct. 14, 2004.
