Dolly Jean Goins, 63, of Wapakoneta, died on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at her residence. She was born on Dec. 9, 1949, in Charleston, W. Va., the daughter of Eugene Earl and Maggie Leona (Dunn) Hudnall, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 8, 1987, she married Raymond Goins, and he survives.
Alma B. Geiger, 94, formerly of 702 S. Wayne St., St. Marys, and a resident of Fort Wayne, Ind., for the past 10 years, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at the Saint Anne Home in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born on May 4, 1919, in Decatur, Ind., the daughter of Richard and Sophia (Hockemeyer) Thieme.
She married Frederick W. Geiger on Sept. 19, 1942, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1967.

The Ohio Historical Society will be presenting a special Civil War program at FJ Stallo Memorial Library in Minster at 5:30 p.m. today. Jennifer Rounds will be discussing and showing “Children’s Clothing During the Civil War.” Families are welcome.

There are only two names left — Lima’s Kenneth Sturgill and Wapakoneta’s Lucy Zink — in the 4th annual Publishers’ Dash for Cash. The grand prize winner would take home $5,000 and the first name drawn of the last two would take home $1,000. Sturgill says he will apply the winnings toward his car or house. Zink says she will use it to replace an appliance.
