Marietta J. Bonifas, 63, formerly of St. Marys died on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance.

Arrangements are being completed with the Miller — Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High Street Chapel in St. Marys.

Suzanne Eutsler, 66

June 21, 2013

Suzanne Eutsler, 66, of Spencerville, died at 11:57 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Lima Memorial Health System, with her family and friends at her side. She was born on Dec. 10, 1946, in Bellefontaine, a daughter of Carl W. and Hazel Katherine Shepherd McKenzie, who are deceased. On July 17, 1976, she married Robert E. “Huff” Eutsler, who survives.

Multiple Injuries Reported In Collision

ST. MARYS — Multiple injuries have been reported stemming from a two-vehicle collision on westbound U.S. 33, just east of St. Marys this morning.

Sources on the scene told The Evening Leader the collision involved a bus and a vehicle that reportedly left the rest area going the wrong way on U.S. 33. No further details have been released. More information will be posted when available. 

Judith K. Goodwin, 71

Judith K. Goodwin, 71, of 415 S. Vine St. in St. Marys, died at 2:06 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1941, to Howard and Marguerite (Ellis) Gray.

On June 5, 1962, in Fremont, she married Albert "Sluggo" Goodwin, who survives.

Christina “Tina” M. Heitbrink, 44

June 21, 2013

Christina “Tina” M. Heitbrink, 44, of Minster, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at her home. 

She was born on Nov. 11, 1968, in Coldwater, to the late Cletus and Velma (Clune) Heitbrink.

Her mother survives in Maria Stein. 

She is also survived by three brothers; three sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Rev. Tom Brenberger, celebrant.

NEW BREMEN — Thousands of cyclists have arrived in New Bremen today as part of GOBA's tour. The riders will be in the area until Friday, and there are scores of activities available to them as well as the public.

The St. Marys Community Public Library will host a Day of the Prairie Dog program at 1 p.m. today for grades one through three.

Citizens for the Improvement of St. Marys Schools will meet at 7 p.m. today at the St. Marys VFW.

Teens Arrested On Drug Charges

COLDWATER — Two Mercer County teens were arrested on drug charges on Tuesday.

Coldwater Police Chief Jason Miller said Coldwater police officers received a complaint of possible drug trafficking in the area of Hardin Street. An undercover officer from the Grand Lake Task Force was sent to the area and observed an alleged drug deal take place. The vehicle involved was quickly stopped in Celina, where drugs were located.
