ST. MARYS — The St. Marys ACME baseball team added another doubleheader sweep to its late regular-season surge.
St. Marys emerged from a wild eight-inning slugfest with an 11-10 win in the opener and then made quick work of Delphos Jefferson with a 4-0 win in the five-inning nightcap.
The sweep lifts the St. Marys ACME team to 9-6 on the season as they now have three days off before the beginning of the ACME sectional tournament at Minster next week.
Adrian Clay Beagle, 65, of St. Marys, died at 4:06 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on Feb. 13, 1948, in Mt. Olivet, Ky. to William and Gertrude (Derossett) Beagle.
On July 14, 1980, in Jellico, Tenn., he married Judy Orick, who died on Oct. 11, 2011.
Lavon C. Dicke, 98, of New Bremen, died at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Elmwood of New Bremen.
She was born on May 3, 1915, in St. Marys.
She was the daughter of the late Irvin and Emma (Schnelle) Wiehe.
On Sept. 15, 1937, she married Ralph Dicke, who preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1999.
Survivors include her children, Stanley (Janell) Dicke of Mendon, Larry (Dianne) Dicke of New Bremen and Oneta (Chris) Lyda of New Bremen.

Marietta Josephine Bonifas, 63, formerly of St. Marys, died on Friday, June 21, 2013, at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance.
She was born on May 17, 1950, in Delphos, to Vernon and Angela (Vogt) Bonifas.
Survivors include a sister; three brothers; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Bonifas; mother, Angela Bonifas-Boberg; and stepfather Lawrence Boberg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte, celebrant.
Joseph F. Henry, 91, of Versailles, passed away at 10:17 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
Joseph was born on June 15, 1922, in Darke County, to the late Harry and Mary (Didier) Henry.
George William “Bill” Harris Jr., 85, of 02916 Greenville Road In St. Marys, died at 8:35 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on Aug. 10, 1927, in Buckland, to George William and Vera (Burden) Harris Sr.
On July 28, 1946, in Covington, Ky., he married Kathryn M. “Kate” Harris, who died on Nov. 11, 2007.
ST. MARYS — A wrongway driver collided with a bus in the westbound lane of U.S. 33 near St. Marys Friday morning in a collision that injured six people.
According to a report from the Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 8:23 a.m. Friday, Terence K. Kaiser, 46, of Celina, exited the westbound rest area in the wrong direction in a 1994 tan Chevy Lumina when the vehicle collided with a westbound 2003 White Ford E-450 bus driven by Jason M. Germann, 38, of Wapakoneta, just east of the westbound rest area near Glynwood-New Knoxville Road.
