NEW KNOXVILLE — New Knoxville Board of Education members look forward to a presentation from Superintendent Kim Waterman and Treasurer Cathy Doseck in a future meeting to get a better idea of the district’s fiscal situation and when bonds will expire as they look at where the school will spend in the future.
“Medical insurance is just astronomical,” board member Steve Frankenberg said as he looked over the school’s bills.
Rosemary Klosterman, 93, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Auglaize Acres.
She was born on March 22, 1919, in St. Marys, the daughter of Isadore and Alice (Davis) Roth, who preceded her in death.
On Oct. 8, 1938, she married James L. Klosterman Sr., and he died on March 11, 2011.
Elsie C. VanOss, 95, formerly of South Hanover Street in Minster, died at 3:15 a.m., Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center in Minster. She had been a resident there for nine years.
She was born on June 19, 1917, in Fort Loramie, to Albert and Amelia (Boerger) Freytag.
On Feb. 21, 1944, she married Edmund G. VanOss. He died on Oct. 27, 2002.
