Cherl Durie Russell, 65, of 1107 Parkway Drive, St. Marys, died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, following a brief illness.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1947, in Van Wert, the daughter of Billy and Florence (Vermilya) Agler.
She married Harvey Russell on June 29, 1964, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 2009.

CELINA — The suspect wanted in connection with the Nov. 8 death of a Rockford woman was arrested Wednesday morning in Fort Wayne.
Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey announced law enforcement officials have taken Daniel Charles Martin, 40, of Fort Wayne, Ind., into custody. Martin was on the run for close to two months in connection with the death of Melinda Shinn, 26.
A day after the shooting, the Mercer County Sheriff's Office requested the assistance of the United States Marshal’s Service in locating Martin.

Roller skaters had a lot of good memories from 2012. Misty Shaffer remembered 2012 as the year she changed jobs.

Robert “Bob” E. Blew, 81, of Celina, died at 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford, of natural causes.
He was born on April 24, 1931, in Columbus to parents Harry Blew and Leona Bevans Blew, both of whom preceded him in death.
On Nov. 28, 1953, he married Marilyn Fell, who preceded him in death on Dec. 2, 2010.
He is survived by a son, Larry (Sally) Blew of Hamilton, Mich.; a brother; two sisters-in-law.
He was a veteran of the Army and served in the Korean War.
Miriam B. Holtkamp, 93, a resident at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community near Sidney, died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.
She was born on Jan. 25, 1919, in Shelby County to Herbert and Mary (Zorn) Fogt.
She married Llewellyn “Charlie” W. Holtkamp on June 21, 1941, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1970.
Sharon M. Kline, 67, of Wapakoneta, went to be with her Savior at 1:55 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Wapakoneta Manor after several years of extended illnesses.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1945, in Lima, the daughter of Lawrence Winegardner and Helen (Myers) Klopfenstein.
Her mother survives in Wapakoneta, and her father preceded her in death.
On Dec. 10, 1982, she married Robert C. Kline, and he survives.
